There are a large number of Roll’s of Honour and Plaques in our local places of worship commemorating the fallen of both World Wars, where churches and chapels have merged generally the Memorials have followed.
All of these are shown on this website:
The most recent find was the Roll of Honour from Ebenezer Wesleyan Chapel, now Robson & Ellis Funeral Directors and good supporters of the War Memorial.
This Roll of Honour was not known to ourselves or local historians.
This was bought 10 years ago from a house clearance in Bradford on exactly the 90th anniversary of Sam Coulson Duce’s death at the Battle of Jutland by a man who now lives in Sheffield the first name and date he spotted was Sam’s and he has done a lot of research and made contact with myself via our website.
We are discussing an appropriate location for the Roll of Honour.
