This day marks the Centenary of Bramley man, Fred McNess's heroism that saw him awarded the Victoria Cross, near Ginchy, during the Battle of The Somme. On Friday, 11th November, our Armistice Day Service will be led by Reverend Richard Coutts of St.Thomas's, Stanningley. The dedication of the new Standard will take place at Yarnbury Rugby Union Club and be marked by a game between the Royal Artillery and the Blues and Royals. We shall have a stall at this dedication.
