We are organising a special Saturday session with the aim of bagging several hundred bin bags and removing the "Mountain" of cut and stacked grass in Bramley Baptist Church plus the odd dumped tyre. All are welcome we'll be there from 11.00 am to 5.00 pm and will also be having on the hour talks…
The dedication of the new Standard will take place at Yarnbury Rugby Union Club and be marked by a game between the Royal Artillery and the Blues and Royals. We shall have a stall at this dedication.
As part of the 240th Commemoration of the founding of Bramley Baptist Church, Ian Johnstone of the War and Remembered Graves team will host a tour on April 22nd followed by a talk from the Church on its history.
Our Secretary/Archivist will be deliverying a talk on Bramley War Memorial to this Group on Wednesday April 26th with the Lord Mayor of Leeds in attendance.

As in previous years we will be commemorating Trooper Alfred Inman Latto who died aged18 on this day in 1940, he died in Northern France during the Dunkirk Campaign. We will be flying the Regimental Flag of the 4th/7th Royal Dragoon Guards. "Quis Separabit" Alfred is on the front row, far left "
Bramley man and D Day Veteran, Peter Paylor, died last December. We are flying our Union Flag on the 73rd Anniversary of D Day in his memory.
We will be flying our Union Flag to mark Armed Forces Day.
We will be commemorating the local men who died in the battles of 1917 in Belgium on the designated centenary date.
This year's AGM will be held at Villagers Community Club, gathering at 7.15 pm for a prompt start at 7.30 pm. All welcome, the agenda will be added later to this posting.
