This day marks the Centenary of Bramley man, Fred McNess’s heroism  that saw  him awarded the Victoria Cross, near Ginchy, during the Battle of The Somme.

We will be flying the Scots Guards Flag to commemorate Fred, a Commemorative Stone will be unveiled during the Service, which commences at 2.00 pm.
