DESCRIPTION:On Thursday 8th. May\, there will be a service of Thanksgiving and Remembrance at Bramley War Memorial to commemorate the 80th. anniversary of Victory in Europe Day. The event will start at 10.40am. \nThe speech given by King George VI on VE Day in 1945 will be read. Wreaths will be laid as we remember especially over 200 service personnel from our local communities who gave their lives in service to their country during World WArd Two. \nIf you have any memories of VE Day in 1945\, we’d love to hear them and you can share them with us at the event. \nPLEASE DO COME AND JOIN US ON MAY 8TH.
